  乌利·希克履历

  乌利·希克,出生于1946年,在瑞士长大,他在著名的苏黎士大学法律专业取得了博士学位。他作为一名新闻记者和编辑在瑞士多家报刊和杂志社工作过。1977年至1990年在迅达集团担任亚太区域经理,然后成为该集团执行委员会的成员及董事会的董事。1980年他建立了中国和西方的第一个合资公司并持续担任了近10年的副主席职务。他担任了一系列环球公司的董事,1995年后被瑞士政府派往中国、朝鲜、蒙古任了四年大使。他回到瑞士后,继续担任荣格集团等跨国媒体公司的主席。目前他担任中国发展银行和中国其他公司的顾问。他在中国生活了许多年,亲历了中国改革开放和现代艺术 、电影、戏剧的日新月异。作为收藏家和西方当代艺术的先驱,他是世界上到目前为止收藏中国当代艺术最丰富的收藏家。1997年他建立了中国当代艺术奖,专为生活在中国的当代艺术家设立的,同时他也是纽约现代艺术博物馆国际协会、伦敦Tate画廊国际咨询协会和卡塞尔文献展(Documenta)的一员。他也是北京2008 年奥运会主体育馆瑞士设计师赫尔佐格与德·梅隆的顾问。

麻将”曾出现在伯尔尼、
汉堡
和萨斯尔堡,未来将继续在欧洲其他主要城市展出,然后是美国的伯克利,来让世界进一步了解中国当代艺术。

  CURRICULUM VITAE ULI SIGG

  Uli Sigg, born 1946, grew up in Switzerland. He completed his studies with a Ph.D. of the University of Zurich Law Faculty. He then worked as journalist and editor for various Swiss newspapers and magazines. From 1977 to 1990 he joined the Schindler Group where he held positions as Area Manager for Asia Pacific and later Member of the Group Executive Committee and Shareholders Board. He established in 1980 the first Joint Venture between China and the West and remained its Vice Chairman for ten years. He then served on the boards of a number of global companies till 1995 the Swiss federal government appointed him for four years ambassador to China, North Korea and Mongolia. Upon his return to Switzerland he again assumed the chairmanship or board membership of several multinational companies such as Ringier Media Group. Presently he also serves as member of the Advisory Board of China Development Bank and other Chinese entities. He spent altogether many years in China, following the opening up of China and its contemporary art scene from day one. As collector of formerly Western contemporary art he now has formed the most substantial collection of contemporary Chinese art in the world. He also established 1997 the Chinese Contemporary Art Award, an art award for Chinese contemporary artists living in China. He is a member of the International Council of New York MOMA and International Advisory Councils of Tate Gallery, London, and documenta, Kassel. He is advisor to the Swiss architects Hergoz & de Meurom to build the Olympic Stadium in Beijing for 2008.

  Since 2005 “Mahjong, Works from the Sigg Collection” travelled to Bern, Hamburg, Saltsburg, and will continue to other cities in Europe and next to Berkley, USA, to further inform on Chinese contemporary art.
